• Group Admins: Designated users by Platform Owners receive accounts to manage specific groups or initiatives within the NGO. We collect their name and email address.

• Details about events you create or attend on the platform are collected, such as:
• Event titles, descriptions, dates, times, and locations
• Speaker information and bios
• Registration details ( depending on event setup)

User-Generated Content:

Information you choose to share publicly on the platform, such as:

• Comments in discussions or forums
• Bios or descriptions associated with your account
• Content uploaded for event promotion

Usage Data:

We collect anonymized information about how you use the Platform, including:

• Pages visited and features used
• Searches conducted
• Event discovery behavior (for Event Attendees)

• Event Management: To empower Platform Owners and Group Admins to manage events effectively, including attendee communication, registration data access, and performance analysis.
• Event Discovery (Attendees): To provide a searchable directory of events hosted by NGOs on YAYACT, allowing users to discover relevant events based on their interests.
• Communication: To send updates, reminders, and (with your consent) promotional offers related to YAYACT, events you manage/attend, or your organization's initiatives (for Platform Owners).
• Platform Improvement: To analyze usage data and user behavior to improve the Platform's features and user experience for both NGOs and Event Attendees.
• Compliance: To comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including PIPEDA.
